Virus Plow (the "Service") is provided by Virus Plow Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Virus Plow regarding your use of the Service.
By using the Service, you represent that you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction and possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. User Responsibilities
As a "Digital Guardian" utilizing Virus Plow, you are tasked with maintaining the integrity of your own nodes and environments. Your responsibilities include:
- circle Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and administrative credentials.
- circle Ensuring all systems running the Virus Plow engine are licensed for such operation.
- circle Promptly reporting any discovered vulnerabilities in the Virus Plow core to our security audit team.
3. Software License (Open Source)
Virus Plow is built on the philosophy of collective defense. The core scanning engine is released under the **AGPL-3.0 License**. This means you are free to inspect, modify, and redistribute the code, provided that your modifications are also made available under the same terms.
Our cloud-based orchestration layer and proprietary threat intelligence feeds remain under a commercial license. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access these services for your internal business purposes only.

Proprietary Feeds
High-frequency threat intelligence and real-time behavioral analysis.
4. Prohibited Uses
We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who utilizes Virus Plow for malicious intent. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

Reverse-engineering our engine to create more sophisticated malware.

Using the service to perform unauthorized penetration tests on third-party infrastructure.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
While Virus Plow acts as a potent shield, no security software can guarantee 100% immunity from zero-day exploits or coordinated nation-state attacks. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data or ransomware expenditures.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amounts paid by you to Virus Plow in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
